The Bizzies – Aotearoa’s Business Events Awards return in 2026 for their second celebration of excellence across New Zealand’s business events sector. Taking place on 28 October 2026 at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre, The Bizzies recognise the individuals, partners and events making an outstanding contribution to our industry.

Established in 2025, The Bizzies provide a national platform to recognise achievement, innovation and impact across the business events sector. The awards celebrate the people and organisations behind exceptional business events, alongside the events themselves and the lasting impact they create.

Following a strong response to the 2026 awards programme, judging is now complete and this year’s finalists have been announced. Attention now turns to the Awards Evening in Christchurch, where the industry will come together to celebrate the finalists and announce the 2026 winners.

The Bizzies are more than an awards night. They are an opportunity for the business events community to come together, celebrate the people and work that make our sector exceptional, and shine a spotlight on the contribution business events

make to Aotearoa – economically, socially and environmentally.

With the second Bizzies Awards Evening now just weeks away, preparations are well underway to deliver a celebration that builds on the success of the inaugural awards and continues to establish The Bizzies as an important annual moment for

New Zealand’s business events industry.
