Emerging Business Events Award
This award recognises rising talent in the business events industry. Open to professionals with five or fewer years of experience, nominees must be peer-nominated and endorsed by two expert referees. The recipient will demonstrate leadership, drive, and a clear commitment to growth, excellence, and positive impact within the industry. This award complements the BEIA Outstanding Contribution to Business Events Award, which recognises individuals further along in their career journey.
Entry Criteria
The nominee must have a legal right to live and work in New Zealand. The nominee must be currently employed in New Zealand by an organisation operating in the business events industry. The nominee has been working in the business events industry for more than 5 years. |
Documents Required for Entry | |

Nominees CV | Maximum of 2 pages and should include an overview of the nominee’s training and work experience within the industry. |
Letters of Support | 2 referees describing in particular the impact the nominee has had on the industry. |
Completed Entry Form | All sections must be completed within the specified word counts to be applicable ensuring that all points are addressed. |

Payment Terms:
One invoice will be issued for all entries submitted by the same person after the entry deadline.
